Set me free
From this prison of iron!
Let me go
From this world of pain!
Give me heart,
That I may triumph,
Strength,
That I may live again.

How long now
Have I been here, captive?
Bound, tied down,
And tortured so?
In this cell,
Cold, unattractive;
Filled with Hate,
And Grief, and Woe.

Give me back
The life I’m used to!
Give me back
The Hope I’ve lost!
Give me back
To those who love me!
Give them back
The tears I’ve cost!

No more hours
Spent in suff’ring!
No more days
Spent deep in pain!
No more weeks
Spent watching, waiting,
Seeking Hope
Where none remains.

What am I
To you? Why keep me
Here, unseen,
Unheard, unknown?
Why keep me
From those who love me?
Cold, unloved,
Afraid, alone.

uh oh... :sprint:

hehe, I know what you mean about the exclamation marks, but I don't really see how I can make it any better...so oh well.
